More than I want,
Lord, to me You give.
Sweeter than I imagine
Is life in You to live.
More than I wish,
More than I desire,
More than I long for
Is Your burning fire.
More than I dream,
More than I pray,
More than I envision
Is Your perfect Way.
Yes, glory of glories,
Delight of delights,
Is Your love teeming
Through days and nights.
It embraces and comforts,
Uplifts and transforms.
It inspires and beautifies,
Brightens and warms.
It caresses my skin
In the light summer breeze.
It brings chills to my soul
As I pray on my knees.
It sings to my heart
In the psalms of the bird;
It renews my spirit
In the power of Your Word.
What dream can I dream
More lovely than Your love?
What can I desire more
Than Your gifts from Above?
Imagine my mind,
Desire my heart
No sweeter truth than
You and I shall never part.
My Master, my Jesus,
How You love me so;
You cling to my hand
Wherever I go.
With joy and peace
You adorn my pathway;
With hope and love
You grace every day.
Your eyes shimmer
As the ocean deep,
Sparkling with treasures
You lovingly keep.
Yes, eternal treasures
I hear in Your Name:
Love, Life, Jesus
Are one and the same.
Rejoice I shall then,
Always I shall rejoice.
Beloved, I delight
In music of Your voice.
More than I dream,
More than I pray,
More than I envision
Is Your perfect Way.
