~*~

I remember looking at “those other people” who seemed to have it all in life thinking SOMEDAY, I will have that too. Whether it be in my health, finances, family, relationships, spiritual walk, or personal growth, I expected success as it only seemed “fair.”

Well guess what? Success never FOUND me!

This didn’t seem very “fair to me” …after all, I WANTED success, wasn’t that enough? I was a “good person”, weren’t good things suppose come to good people?

Have you ever struggled in an area in your life and thought the same? (HA! If so, you and I would connect very well it sounds.)

I want to share with you the simple key to success that I learned after two pivotal points in my life when I:

  1. Woke up one day” to find myself a couch potato mom who couldn’t run 2 blocks. (I would go on to become an Ironman Triathlete.)
  2. “Woke up one day” to find my family drowning in debt and on the brink of losing everything. (My family would go on to pay off over $150,000 worth of debt and pay CASH for over $30,000 worth of medical in 3 years.)

After having had the opportunity to go through these transformational journeys in life, I found that success doesn’t need to be complicated. In addition, ANYONE can achieve great things in their life. How?

By TAKING INTENTIONAL ACTION.

What happens when you apply intentional action into striving for your goals? YOU will find success.

The cool thing is that most people find when they have success in one area of life through taking intentional action, it is easier to transform other areas in their life including:

  • finances
  • health
  • spiritual walk
  • personal growth
  • career

While I can’t say that taking intentional action is always, easy, I will tell you that the grey area of always wanting, wishing and dreaming for things to be better in your life is draining. Using your energies  instead to focus in on incremental action steps will help you get you out of the grey area and into achieving great things. (For more information on how to implement intentional action in your life, please download our free SMARTIE Goals worksheet that will help guide you along in your journey.)

Remember, success will NEVER find you (even if you are a “good person”)….YOU need to take action to find success through intentional action.

Question: What intentional action steps can you take to improve one area of your life starting today?
