“The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” ~ Psalm 145:8

No matter where I go,

There You are too,

No matter where I travel

Next to me is You:

Through the valley,

Upon the mountain height,

Whether my heart is heavy

Or in joyful flight,

Above the bridges,

Upon the paths that wind,

Your smile, Your love,

I do always find.

Thank You, Lord Jesus,

For traveling with me,

Here on earthly terrain

And into eternity.

Gently You lift me

When I stumble or fall;

You direct where to go

With Your loving call.

So in this journey

My heart does rejoice;

I delight in every step,

Every note of Your voice.

Should I wander,

Lead me back on Your way,

Revive my spirit

With the words You say.

In Your sacred footsteps

I choose to follow;

Yes, lead me on this path,

I go where You go.

Above the bridges,

Upon the paths that wind,

Your smile, Your love,

Transforms my mind.

Through the valley,

Upon the mountain height,

It matters not where,

As long as You are in sight.

Yes, no matter where I go,

There You are too;

And I praise You, my Jesus,

That I am next to You.

Come Follow Me

“For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.” 1 Peter 2:21

“Come follow Me,”

Lord, I hear You say,

“Come follow Me,

Follow now My way.”

 ~*~

“Straight and narrow

Is this way I lead,

It leads to Heaven,

I fill every need.”

 ~*~

“The flowers of virtue

Blossom and grow

Upon the sacred way

Which I now go.”

 ~*~

“Storms may come,

But I calm them all,

I promise to carry

When you stumble or fall.”

 ~*~

“So come follow Me,

Stay nigh unto My side;

Come follow Me,

With Me do abide.”

~*~

“Treasures I have for you,

So many in store;

How can I do less

For the child I adore?”

 ~*~

“Take My hand, daughter,

See how I love you?

I will show you the way,

Teach you what to do.”

 ~*~

“Shower You with love,

Surround You with grace,

Lead you with light,

Warm with My embrace,”

 ~*~

“For no path is like this,

None is perfect like Mine;

Surely it is a pathway

Sacred and divine.”

~*~

“So come follow Me,

Cling to My hand,

Faithfully I lead you

To the Promised Land.”

~*~

Yes, follow You, Jesus,

This I promise to do;

How can I do any less

When I adore You?

 ~*~

Straight and narrow

Is this way You lead,

You take me to Heaven,

You fill every need.

 ~*~

So I will follow You,

I savor all You say;

O Jesus, I will follow You

On Your wondrous way.

Path of Life

“You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm 16:11

 (Send as an Inspirational Christian eCard!)

Lord, I call unto You,

Hear my humble prayer;

Lord, I search for You,

Make my way clear.

At times it seems

Dim is the path before me;

At times it seems

It is too difficult to see.

Yet in those moments

I feel Your hand reach;

The perfection of Your way

To me You teach.

“Daughter, I am here,

You need not worry or cry;

Daughter, have faith,

Look up, for it is I.”

“I am here with you,

I will show you the way;

Come here into My arms,

Listen to all I say.”

“The path of life

For you, My child, I pave;

I give everything I have

To love and to save.”

“So come nigh unto Me,

I promise to carry you;

Eternal pleasures I give

With joy rich and true.”

In saying these words,

Your eyes brilliantly shine;

Oh, how I feel peace

In Your presence divine.

Yes, Lord, I give all to You.

How can I give any less?

You give Your all to me,

Your Lordship I confess.

Take my hand, Master,

Lead me upon Your way;

I follow wherever You go,

Every moment, every day.

Should the tears stream,

Should I stumble and fall,

I will look up to You,

Your Name I will call.

Love bursts from my heart,

I praise You in adoration;

My life I live for You,

You are my celebration.

For You are my Light,

You make my way clear;

The path of life I know,

For You, my Jesus, are here.

The Names of the LORD

Names of the Lord

~*~

 (Send as an Inspirational Christian Lighthouse e-card!)

Lord, I commit my all to you

Each passing day and night

I long to walk upon your Way

Always in your perfect Light

For to be one with you, Lord

Is to be one with joy and peace

Indeed to walk with you, Lord

Is to each and every fear release

Your perfect love casts out fear

It brings peace and comfort divine

You bring nourishment to Life

In Your spiritual Bread and Wine

For You are the Bread of Life

You sustain the heart and soul

Your blood is the precious Wine

Cleansing us to make us whole

You are the Way, Truth and Life

No other pathways to God lead

You allow us kinship with the Father

While You fill richly our every need

Such a joy I have found in You, Lord

I cannot stop my heart from singing

I raise my arms in praise to you, God

For Love and Peace You keep bringing

Oh, that each soul would know You

That each person would Your Love feel

May each heart soften to Your Word

Ever true, ever powerful, ever real

For to know closely the Son of God

Is to know intimately the Father Above

To be one with the Word made Flesh

Is to unite with eternal Peace and Love

So many Names you have, Lord

So many roles You gloriously play

Truth, Word, Bread, Wine, Love

King, Lamb, God, Life and Way

Yet on me You have set Your sights

And upon all the children You adore

May we grow to know You deeper, Lord

May we love you each day all the more

May we spread your Message to all

The Gospel of Peace may we share

That all may rest in Your divine peace

That all may know Your loving care

May I lose myself entirely in You

For in losing ourselves we find true Life

To think that You are our Bridegroom

And Your Church your radiant Wife

To think of these truths, Lord

Truly amazes and overwhelms my mind

How humbling that You love me so

No sweeter truth I will ever find

So I commit my all to you, Lord

Each passing day and night

I will walk with You upon Your Way

Abiding always in your perfect Light

The Narrow Path

The Narrow Path

(Send as an Inspirational Christian e-Card!)

May we follow carefully

The narrow and blessed Way

Entering the small gate of Life

As our dear LORD did say

For broad is the path

And wide the gate that leads

To destruction eternal

And why our LORD now pleads

How easy to think the broad

Leads to Heaven’s door

As so many souls tread upon it

And each day all the more

Yet Jesus warned that only few

Will find the narrow Way

So may we heed our every step

As we worship, read and pray

Our earthly journey so transient

In the vast light of eternity

How important that we discern

The path where we may be

Seek God earnestly in prayer

In worship and in fasting too

These bring us ever closer

To the Creator of me and you

And ponder the Cross and pain

That Christ accepted and foreknew

For therein is the answer of Life

Yes, in His death, is Life true

The sting of death itself died

When Christ arose triumphantly

His Way leads to Life eternal

Let it be the only one we see

So as a new day unfolds

And the sun does brilliantly rise

Set out upon the narrow Way

Leading to the Crown and Prize

Yes, may we follow ever carefully

The narrow and blessed Way

Entering the small gate of Life

As our dear LORD did say
