Poetic Inspirations and Practical Applications for Blissful Living

All to You I Offer

All to You I Offer, Lord Jesus

(Send as an Inspirational Christian e-card!)

All to You I offer,

Lord, all to You I give.

All to You I offer:

For You alone I live.

Every sorrow,

Every pain,

Every joy,

Every gain.

Every victory,

Every fear,

Every smile,

Every tear.

Every reward,

Every trial,

Every step,

Every mile.

Yea, all to You I offer,

Lord, all to You I give.

All to You I offer:

For You alone I live.

Every moment,

Every passing day,

Every thought,

Every word I say.

Every friendship,

Every goal,

Every challenge,

Every role.

Every longing,

Every burning desire,

Every passion,

Every inner fire.

All to You I offer,

Lord, all to You I give.

All to You I offer:

For You alone I live.

Every task,

Every profession,

Every gift,

Every possession.

Every heartbeat,

Every breath,

My very life,

My very death.

Everything I am,

Everything I see,

Everything I know,

Everything I am to be.

All to You I offer,

Lord, all to You I give.

All to You I offer:

For You alone I live.

Every breath You give,

Every heartbeat You share,

Every gift You lavish,

Ever loving beyond compare.

Every moment You offer,

Every blood drop You shed,

Every torture You suffer,

Ever out of love You bled.

Everything You are,

Everything are You.

Everything is Jesus,

Yea, Everything True.

So all to You I offer,

Lord, all to You I give.

All to You I offer,

For You alone I live.

In You, Lord Jesus

In You, Lord Jesus

In You, Lord Jesus,

So many gifts I find:

Countless and priceless,

Overwhelming my mind.

In You, my Beloved,

The Father sees me

As He sees You:

Perfect and holy.

In You, my Master,

 Forgiveness I know.

In Your arms

My love does grow.

In You, my Shepherd,

I am led by Wisdom –

Led by Your staff

Through Your Kingdom.

In You, the Lamb,

Your blood does cleanse.

Scarlet were my sins,

White now in their absence.

In You, O Eternal One,

Life everlasting is mine.

Buried in Your heart

Infinite treasures divine.

In You, the I AM,

I find mysteries profound.

The wisdom of Your voice:

How sweet the sound.

In You, my God,

I find awe of Deity.

I fall prostrate in worship

Of the Holy Trinity.

In You, the Christ,

I find passion and power;

Your Holy Spirit fills me

Each moment of each hour.

In You, my Savior,

I find love vast and true.

I see bloodshed on Calvary,

The torment You knew.

In You, my Redeemer,

I find eyes captivating my soul;

But a glance from them

Makes me gloriously whole.

In You, my Brother,

I find both God and Friend;

I find a fellowship wondrous,

One which will never end.

In You, my Jesus,

I find meaning and life;

I delight in giving You myself,

Betrothed I am as Your wife.

In You, my Bridegroom,

I find joy and pure bliss.

Longing for You, my Love,

To embrace and to kiss.

In You, my Master,

Endless mercy I know.

As Your arms embrace,

My love does grow.

In You, my Beloved,

Our Father sees me

As He sees You:

Perfect and holy.

Yes, in You, sweet Jesus,

So many gifts I find:

Countless and priceless,

Overwhelming my mind.

You, my Lord Jesus

So Beautiful in my eyes

Yet stricken You were

Suffering and despised

In majesty You reign now

You, my King, in glory

Yet as You walked on earth

Affliction was Your story

The words of Isaiah

Echo now in my mind

God-inspired prophecy

In these pages I find

Seven-hundred years

Lord, before Your birth

God led the prophet to write

Of Your coming to earth

You grew up, Beloved

As a tender shoot

From the dry ground

You arose as a root

No beauty or majesty

To attract all to You

Suffering and rejection:

Lord, these You knew

You bore our suffering

And took up our pain

Tortured You were

That we may all gain

Crushed for our iniquities

For our transgressions, pierced

Peace we find with God

Through Your punishment fierce

The Father laid all upon You

For each one has gone astray

You bled for the sin of mankind

For each has gone his own way

Led to the slaughter You were

Like a silent lamb

Before the shearer

Stood the Great I AM

Oppression and judgment

Took You, my Lord, away

Punished for all people

That they may know the Way

It was God’s will to crush You

Your life is an offering for sin

You were cut off from the living

Yet through You Life did begin

For Your offspring do grow

God’s Will prospers in Your Hand

You are the Light of Life

You lead us to the Promised Land

The righteous Servant You are

Jesus, many You do justify

You bore the sin of multitudes

When You they did crucify

These words of prophecy

Overtake my very heart

My Lord and my God

Grant that we never part

For me You were crushed –

Jesus, how can this be?

Please accept my offering:

Lord, I give You all of me

Forever for You, Lord

I vow I shall live

Every moment, every breath

To You I humbly give

I worship You

God’s Servant and Lamb

It is my good pleasure

To give You all who I am

Through Your death

Sweet Life I find

Transformed in heart

Renewed in mind

The words of Isaiah

Echo always in my mind

God-inspired prophecy

In those pages I find

In majesty You reign now

You, my King, rule in glory

Yet You died for me

My salvation is Your story

Stricken You were for me

You suffered and were despised

My Savior, Who loves me so,

You are Beautiful in my eyes

Father, may I bear fruit

Fragrant and sweet for Thee

Eternal fruit of Thy Spirit

Yea, fruit to last for eternity

Fill me with joy, my Jesus

May my joy in Thee be complete

May its waters bubble forth

Vibrant, unceasing and sweet

Imbue me with peace, Eternal Prince

Peace enduring when winds do rage

Peace which reigns throughout storms

Heavenly peace adorning age to age

Strengthen me with forbearance

Grant that I am patient amidst trial

Master, may I endure all things

Singing Thy praises all the while

Kindness may I show, my King

Charitable and concerned for others

May I pour of myself for Thee and

Neighbors, strangers, sisters, brothers

Goodness may I embody, my God

Of wondrous virtue may my life sing

Etch Thy Word upon my heart

That glory to Thee I ever bring

Faithful may I be, my Father

Abiding in Thee and in Thy will

May I align always with Thy Word

Obeying gladly all I have heard

Gentle may I be, Lamb of God

Mild and pleasant to all I meet

May I exude the Visage of Christ

Whenever others I do greet

Self-controlled may I be, my Savior

For Thee may I subdue each thing

Taking captive thought, word, action

That does not glory to Thee bring

Love may I express, my Lord

Thou art love, and Thou art in me

To Thee I give all of myself

That filled with Thy love I may be

Yea, humble vessel am I, Beloved

An instrument wholly Thine

I long to ever remain in Thee

To abide in Thy Eternal Vine

In Thy Vine of Eternity

May I bear for Thee precious fruit

My life is Thine to live

Thou givest life, Thou art the root

Overjoyed I am, Eternal One

That for Thee eternal fruit I bear

I praise Thee from the depth of my heart

Thy promises with all I do share

My Father, may I bear fruit

Fragrant and sweet for Thee

Eternal fruit of Thy Spirit

Yea, fruit to last for eternity

Paradise Garden by Exsodus

(Send as an Inspirational Christian Lighthouse e-card!)

Setting out upon a journey

A journey I joyfully embrace

A Lenten pathway before me

Adorned with love and grace

Forty days in the desert

Our Lord began His ministry

He fasted from all food

Tempted, yet sinless, is He

Wondrous gift, lovely path

Thank You, Lord, that I may tread

Pondering Your precious heart

Which for me generously bled

Humbled, falling to my knees

I marvel my Savior’s love

To die for me and my sins

Is why He left His throne Above

Worthy I am not

Of Your love sublime and sweet

I crave Your wondrous Wine

Your Word I long to eat

Man lives not on bread alone

But on the Almighty’s every word

Nourishing, renewing the soul

Precious truths, told and heard

Lord, please take my hand

Lead me wherever Thou desire

You are the joy of my spirit

You are in my heart a burning fire

Little I have to offer You

Nothing worthy of love You give

Take me, all of me, my Lord

My life is not mine, but Yours, to live

Precious Savior, Lamb of God

You loved me while I was still blind

To fathom the power of Your love

Transcends all thought of mind

So, in this Lenten journey

I vow to give all of myself to You

To be completely Yours, Master

Is to live life abundantly and true

On the Via Dolorosa

Lead me, beloved Lord, to see

How they treated You, my Master

On the way to Calvary

On the hill Golgotha

At the Cross may I stand

Weeping for You, sweet Lord

Pierced feet and pierced hand

At the Holy Sepulchre

The stone moved may I see

Resurrection triumphing over death

My Lord is Risen, to Him all Glory!

Lenten journey lovely

Pathway of contemplation

Lord, how much You suffered

That I may know salvation

Wondrous gift, lovely path

Thank You, Lord, that I may tread

Pondering Your precious heart

Which for me generously bled

In this Lenten journey and always

I vow to give all of myself to You

To be completely Yours, Lord Jesus

Is to live life abundantly and true

Worthy I am not to be here

Worthy not I to be at Your feet

Worthy not I to be with You

Worthy not my Master to greet

Wondrous You are, dear Lord

Wondrous are Your ways

Wondrous that You love me

Wondrous You love always

Worship I do with all my heart

Worship with psalms and song

Worship with arms lifted high

With You, O Lord, I belong

O, sweet melody fills my heart

A song of joy and praise

My Savior redeems and renews

To Him my heart I raise

The King of kings, the Almighty

He suffered a crown of thorns for me

The Shepherd Himself led as a Lamb

Sacrificing Himself for humanity

Precious Lord, what did You ponder

As they led You Calvary Way?

You embraced the Cross they gave

That I may be with You one day

Sweet Savior, what thoughts were Yours

When they pierced Your hands and feet?

You thought of the children You would save

In Heaven someday each one to meet

My God, my Master, what did You say

When You they did scourge and mock?

You asked Your Father to forgive them

As You longed to gather Your flock

Tremble with awe does my heart

Both humbled and amazed am I

My Savior thought lovingly of me

When Him they did crucify

The depth of Your love is unfathomable

Could indeed these truths be so?

Yes, my Savior’s love transcends thought

He loves me more than I can know

Rejoice, my soul, in my Lord

Stand in awe of His eternal love

Enthrone my King in my heart

In glory He reigns Above

Lord, nothing I can give to You

Will come close to all You give me

Please accept the gift of myself

For I give all of myself to Thee

Love You more I do each day

Closer I long to be with You

I desire to know Your Ways

To cling to all that is True

Master, I kneel before You

Take all I have, all who I am

I pour of myself for You

As You did for me, Precious Lamb

Worthy I am not to be here

Worthy not I to be at Your feet

Worthy not I to be with You

Worthy not my Master to greet

Wondrous You are, dear Lord

Wondrous are Your ways

Wondrous that You love me

Wondrous You love always

Worship I do with all my heart

Worship with psalms and song

Worship with arms lifted high

With You, O Lord, I belong

Citizen of Heaven

Citizen of Heaven

 ~*~

(Send as an Inspirational Christian Lighthouse e-card!)

My citizenship is in Heaven
 Gladly this truth I know
So as each day now passes
Farther from this world I grow

For of this world I am not
I am but a sojourner here
It is God’s Kingdom I seek
My Heavenly home I see clear

Beautiful, bright, eternal
Sweet, lovely and divine
Home of the Lord and the angels
Yes, this very Home is mine

Glorious is this truth, dear Christian
Please let your heart never forget
Your name is in the Book of Life
Indeed forever there it is set

Deserving of this eternal reward
Never could I be on my own
For it is the blood of my Savior
His sacrifice for me did atone

Yes, the blood of the Lamb it is
Which cleanses and sets me free
It is the Cross of my sweet Lord
Which brings me bliss eternally

Heaven already is in my heart
Rest and rejoice in Eden I do
Drinking from the Living Water
And eating God’s every word true

For eternal life starts not some day
Upon being born again it did start
Yes, eternal life I live right now
And joy overflows from my heart

So sing with me, sweet sister
Rejoice with me, beloved brother
Let us joyfully thank and praise God
And let us gladly uplift one another

Eternal treasures do await us
For each a crown to perfectly fit
The glory of God we shall see
Forever on the Throne He does sit

Worry not, dear one, of this world
Let not the trials weigh you down
Remember your citizenship Above
Think upon the treasures and crown

For our citizenship is in Heaven
Yes, gladly this truth we know
As each day now passes here
Farther from this world we grow

Yes, of this world we are not
We are but sojourners here
It is God’s Kingdom we seek
Our Heavenly home we see clear

Hope: Eternal and All-Encompassing in Scope

Hope Eternal

(Send as an Inspirational Christian Lighthouse e-card!)

~*~

Great is our hope, dear Christian

A hope which endures beyond time

Hope through the resurrection of Christ

Hope sacred, spiritual and sublime

Yes, our loving Father gives to us

A wondrous birth in living hope

It transcends our understanding

Eternal and all-encompassing in scope

Let us wear this hope as our helmet

A sure and steadfast anchor of the soul

Yes, through the joy and peace of believing

Hope abounds in us to make us whole

So my heart sings praises to our Savior

For His hope does carry me above trial

Yes, rain and shadows may encompass me

But His hope keeps me joyful all the while

Things external cannot overcome me

No, my eyes are fixed on hope of eternity

For hope that is seen is not hope at all

I instead wait for what I do not see

Christian, then, do not grow discouraged

Do not quench the Spirit living in you

Fix your eyes instead on God’s Promises

Set your heart upon the eternal and true

Then surely hope will well in your soul

Surely it will burst forth as a fountain

It will embrace, uplift and encourage you

Both in deep valley and on towering mountain

So join me, dear Christian, in praising God

May hope keep our eyes fixed on Heaven above

For nothing is more beautiful or more sweet

Than to experience Christ and His eternal love

Rejoice we do in the hope Jesus has given us

It is a hope which endures beyond time

Hope through the resurrection of our sweet Savior

A hope sacred, spiritual and sublime

Divine Intersection: The Cross

Divine Intersection: The Cross

(Send as an Inspirational Christian Lighthouse e-card!)
 ~*~
The Cross of Christ
Intersection of death with Life
Overlap of justice and mercy
Union of joy with strife
The Cross of Crucifixion
Beams vertical and horizontal meet
Divine mercy flowing downward
Scales of justice balancing sweet
The Cross of our Lord
Altar of Sacrifice lifted high
That all looking to Jesus Christ
May to the Father be nigh
The Cross of Calvary
An expression of highest Love
God dying for His creation
That man may be with Him above
The Cross of Jesus
Heavy, yet it He did embrace
Suffering condemnation and cruelty
To save from sin the human race
The Cross of Golgotha
Water and blood from Christ did flow
That all cleansed by His Sacrifice
Would divine love and mercy know
The cross of my life
Small when to my Lord’s I compare
Sweet to share His suffering
With me eternal riches He does share
The cross, the divine intersection
May we embrace with grateful heart
For in the moment we accept it
Flow of God’s graces do then start
The Cross of Christ
May it convict the heart and mind
For in repentance and transformation
Divine joy and peace we find
The Cross of my Lord
May it remind me continually
Of the unending, undying love
That my Savior has for me
Behold the Cross of Calvary
Expressing my Lord’s Love
He died for me, His daughter
That I may be with Him above
