Beautiful Mother,

Lovely Mother of mine,

Truly your love

Flows from the Divine.

Tender, kind,

Gracious, full of love,

Surely you reflect

Our Father above.

Warm, generous,

Selfless and pure:

With you, my Mother,

I am safe and secure.

I celebrate your love,

I rejoice in who you are.

Your presence I feel

Whether near or far.

Your love crosses miles

And sails the seas;

So you, my Mother,

I do wish to please.

On this Mother’s Day

I celebrate you;

Yet celebrate you always

I wish to do.

For your love ceases not

Even for a day;

Unwavering is your love

As you follow His Way.

Our precious Lord

Selected you for me;

You were entrusted

With me by Divinity.

No mother better

For me on earth;

Yes, no mother better

To give me birth.

Glorious truth

Wondrous to know:

His love in you

Our Lord does show.

In words you speak,

His voice I hear;

In your selfless acts,

His hand is clear.

Such a noble role,

Yes, an amazing grace:

The Lord’s love we feel

In a mother’s embrace.

For the Gift of my Mother,

I give God the glory;

Through my beautiful Mother

He shares His story.

As the Lord is love,

He is all that is true:

These virtues, my Mother,

I find in you.

Warm, generous,

Selfless and pure:

With you, my Mother,

Sweeter on earth –

Than the one who did

Give us birth?

Surely God is good,

Truly God is love:

Giving us our mothers

From His throne above.

Glory to His Name,

Glory to my King!

Good gifts He gives,

Of Him I sing.

For He gave me

My lovely Mother,

In my eyes sweeter

Than any other.

Surely He is wise,

Surely all He knows:

He chose my Mother,

For her my love grows.

Celebrate my Mother

I do on this Day;

A time of rejoicing

In this month of May.

I love you, my Mother,

More than I can express.

May God be with you,

Your every day to bless.

Each day I shall

Love you all the more;

You shine with love

Of the One I adore.

Sweet with compassion,
