Eternal Love
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” ~ John 3:16
The joy You shine,
The smiles You bring,
The gifts You share,
The song You sing,
The delight You are,
The truth You impart,
The music You play,
The beat of Your heart,
The sparkle of Your eye,
The beauty of creation,
The glory of Your presence,
The sound of celebration —
All of these, my Jesus,
Create my life song;
In all these, my Jesus,
I rejoice all day long.
You provide all these,
Yes, all things You give:
The water to refresh,
The clean air to live.
Yet the most precious gift
Is Your eternal love,
Flowing ever freely
From Heaven above.
Without Your love
Nothing would I be,
Yet with Your love
I find life eternally.
So in Your sparkling eye,
In the beauty of creation,
I delight in Your presence,
You are my celebration.
I rejoice in Your voice,
In the truth You impart,
For the music I hear
Is the beat of Your heart.
And the sweetest gift of all
Is Your love, my King;
Of this love, Lord Jesus,
I forever sing.
