Joy of Joys

 

“Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory…” 1 Peter 1:8

 

Joy of joys,

Light of every light,

Love of love,

Crowning delight,

 

All are You,

Jesus, Sweet Friend;

All are You,

Beginning and End.

 

My heart I raise

In joyful adoration;

Your song I sing

In eternal celebration.

 

Treasured You are,

Yea, beyond all things;

You are my Beloved,

My King of kings.

 

You are my Song,

My Symphony sweet;

You are my life,

My very heartbeat.

 

Today and every day

I sing Your praise;

You are my Inspiration

Now and always.

 

Kisses from my heart

Stream ever to You;

Contain this pure love

Never can I do.

 

So, my sweet Jesus,

My Light of light,

Be always with me

Through day and night.

 

Love of loves,

Stay nigh unto me;

Keep me in Your heart

For all eternity.

 

Joy of joys,
